Pau – rounds 7, 8 and 9

The first race at Pau saw drama right from lights out. Alex Toril (Threebond with TSport) broke late going into the first corner (Pont Oscar), going into the back of Mitchell Gillbert and flying over the top of him into the wall. The incident resulted in a safety car and Gillbert out of the race with damage to his car, including a broken rear wing.

Teammate John Bryant-Meisner took home a solid result of P12.

The team worked hard and got Mitchell’s car back in race condition for Sunday’s races. In race 2 Mitchell ¬†showed great pace and finished sixth, whilst John also had a good race and crossed the line in eleventh.

For the final race both drivers put in stunning drives to finish within the points. Mitchell took fifth, with John just behind in eighth.
